DSCN5220I knew this might happen and I almost let it stop me from going … almost. I had all these reasons I was making up to not go …

  • I’m too tired
  • I’ll do it tomorrow
  • I’ll just work out at home
  • I’ll be the biggest person there and I’m so embarrassed and ashamed about the way I look
  • I have only one exercise shirt that fits me … and, the list goes on.

But, I told my coach and my accountability buddies I was going to go and I wanted to keep that commitment … no matter what. I mean, I never thought that I would be that person, that woman, who was the biggest in the class.  When I was thinner, I was never the smallest, but I was always in the respectable middle. OMG … so many judgments.

Feelings of shame, embarrassment and humiliation flooded my body … how did I let this happen to me? I look terrible! I should just go home and hide in my work … at least I’m good at that. My Inner Wicked Girl was having a field day with this situation … where the heck was my Inner Wise Woman? Slowly, quietly, ferociously, she emerged.  “Shut up. Stop making noise!” She firmly told the Inner Wicked Girl. “We aren’t leaving!”

She told me she was proud of me for having the courage to venture out of my comfort zone and go back to class so I can feel better and get more fit … that I have to start somewhere, and if I don’t start today, it will only get worse. She reminded me that the other people in the class were lost in their own worlds and weren’t paying much attention, if any, to what I looked like or what I was doing. In a few minutes, I was enjoying the workout, sweating away and remembering why I used to love spin class so much.  And, the endorphin rush was a nice bonus! I made it to the other side of resistance to the amazing reward!

You may be wondering what this has to do with you? How often do you let your resistance stop you and take you out?  In your business?  In your life? Are you trying to create your dreams, have more, be more, from inside your comfort zone?

I’m here to tell you it won’t happen.  It’s impossible.  Everything you yearn for is outside of your comfort zone. And, if you want to stop spinning your wheels, you need mentorship and coaching from someone who knows how to get you where you want to go. I have had all sorts of amazing mentorship – a business coach, a spiritual coach, a relationship coach, a body coach,  a consciousness coach, a pleasure coach, an alchemize your shame into fuel type coach … and, so on.

I learn from the best of the best in every area and that’s why I progress quicker than most people ever will. I invest when I have no idea where the money is going to come from because I know that if I follow my YES, the money (and, everything else) will come in spades.

In just 4 years, I have gone from:

  • feeling like I was dying inside and wanting to disappear to being on fire and loving my life
  • being stuck my dark night of the soul to using the most shameful moments of my life as fuel for making my dreams happen
  • being miserable in a lawyer job to a thriving 6-figure dream business
  • a marriage that was falling apart to feeling like a team with my husband and hopeful for a fiery, passionate, wild future
  • and, so much more …

And, now I’m taking on my body because I have neglected her. I can’t wait to keep jumping out of my comfort zone so I can enjoy vibrant health. What about you? Want to talk about how you can have what you want in life and business? I have limited spots available in July.

Why did I go to that spin class when my resistance was so strong, even when I actually got there?  It’s because I’ve got great coaching in my life. Coaches like Christine Young … she’s the one kicking my butt in the area of body.

To your epic dream,
